Suitable for the control of both crawling and flying pests including ants, beetles, earwigs, spiders, cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, moths, grain weevils and other insects, TyphoonDUO delivers rapid knockdown performance through thermal fogging, ULV cold misting and direct spray applications from a single high-strength concentrate.

This unique multi-application capability enables professional operators to select the most appropriate treatment method depending on site conditions, application objectives and equipment availability while reducing the need to carry multiple specialised products.

One Concentrate. Three Application Methods

TyphoonDUO Concentrate ecowise® delivers exceptional operational flexibility by combining thermal fogging, ULV cold misting and direct spray applications within a single formulation system.

For thermal fogging applications, TyphoonDUO is combined with Sundew PROFOG™ Thermal Fogging Agent at a ratio of 1 part TyphoonDUO to 2 parts PROFOG. This integrated system produces a dense, fine fog designed to penetrate difficult-to-reach areas and remain airborne for extended periods, maximising insect contact within enclosed spaces, voids and harbourage zones.

For ULV cold misting applications, TyphoonDUO is diluted with water to form a stable microemulsion suitable for space spraying, void treatments and crack-and-crevice applications. This water-based misting system aligns strongly with the Sundew ecowise® philosophy through reduced solvent loading and lower hazard formulation design.

TyphoonDUO can also be applied as a direct spray treatment through standard spray equipment. When diluted with water, the formulation provides rapid knockdown control of insects on surfaces, harbourages and treatment areas where non-residual knockdown performance is required.

This multi-application flexibility allows operators to simplify inventory management, reduce product carrying requirements and streamline pest management operations using one integrated concentrate system.

Australia’s First Professional Water-Based Natural Pyrethrin Microemulsion System

TyphoonDUO utilises advanced oil-in-water microemulsion technology where water forms the continuous phase of the formulation rather than heavy solvent systems commonly associated with traditional pyrethrum concentrates.

This modern formulation technology allows the natural pyrethrin active ingredient to remain uniformly dispersed throughout the formulation, supporting excellent stability, consistent droplet formation and reliable application performance across fogging, misting and spray applications.

The advanced Sundew microemulsion system improves mixing stability while supporting reduced solvent loading, improved handling characteristics and a cleaner formulation profile aligned with modern pest management expectations.

High-Strength 28 g/L Natural Pyrethrin Pro-Concentrate

TyphoonDUO Concentrate ecowise® contains 28 g/L natural pyrethrins derived from chrysanthemum flowers, delivering significantly higher concentration compared with many conventional pyrethrum formulations available within the Australian market.

This high-strength pro-concentrate design enables operators to apply the same level of active ingredient while using substantially lower product volume. The result is reduced packaging, improved transport efficiency, lower storage requirements and reduced weight carried within service vehicles.

A 5 L container of TyphoonDUO contains the equivalent pyrethrin active of approximately 35 L of many conventional 4 g/L pyrethrum products, supporting both operational efficiency and sustainability outcomes through reduced packaging and freight requirements. 

PBO-Free Modern Formulation Technology

TyphoonDUO Concentrate ecowise® is formulated without piperonyl butoxide (PBO), a synergist commonly included within many pyrethrum-based insecticide formulations. This PBO-free approach supports a cleaner, more simplified formulation profile while still delivering effective rapid knockdown performance.

The absence of PBO provides important practical advantages within modern pest management environments where customers are increasingly conscious of chemical inputs, particularly within food production facilities, export-focused industries, childcare centres, aged care environments and sensitive commercial sites.

Unlike many traditional solvent-heavy space treatment products, the formulation is primarily composed of water, emulsifiers and lower hazard formulation components designed to improve handling characteristics, reduce odour and minimise unnecessary solvent loading.

This lower hazard formulation approach supports safer handling, improved operator comfort and a cleaner overall formulation profile suitable for modern professional pest management operations.

Non-Flammable Water-Based Technology — Flashpoint Greater Than 93°C

The recommended mixture ratio of 1 part TyphoonDUO to 2 parts PROFOG produces a dense, ultra-fine fog designed to remain airborne for extended periods, maximising insect exposure within enclosed spaces, voids and difficult-to-reach harbourage areas.

PROFOG has been specifically developed to work with modern water-based formulations such as TyphoonDUO through advanced surfactant technology that enables stable fog generation and consistent application performance.

Unlike many glycol-based fogging systems, PROFOG is designed to minimise slippery residues while maintaining excellent fog characteristics and superior penetration performance.

Direct Spray Flexibility for Targeted Surface Treatments

In addition to thermal fogging and ULV misting applications, TyphoonDUO can also be applied as a direct spray treatment using standard spray equipment already carried by most pest management professionals.
